The API accepts plain text, JSON, and markdown formats. You can submit text directly via the request body or as a URL-encoded parameter. For bulk processing, we support CSV and newline-delimited JSON (NDJSON) formats.
Are there rate limits?
Rate limits depend on your plan. Free tier: 100 requests/day. Pro: 10,000 requests/day. Enterprise: Custom limits. Rate limiting is applied per API key using token bucket algorithm. Limits reset daily at midnight UTC.
How do I integrate the API?

What is the maximum text length?

Yes. Enterprise and Pro tier users can set up webhooks for asynchronous processing. We'll send HTTP POST requests to your specified endpoint when processing is complete, along with the humanized text and metadata.
What are your pricing plans?
We offer Starter ($29/month), Pro ($99/month), Business ($299/month), and Enterprise (custom pricing). Each tier includes different request limits, response priorities, and support levels. You can start with a free tier that gives 100 requests daily.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! Every new account gets access to our free tier with 100 API requests per day. No credit card required to sign up. This is perfect for testing and prototyping before committing to a paid plan.
How are you billed?
We bill monthly on a fixed schedule based on your plan. If you exceed your included requests, overage charges apply at $0.10 per additional 1,000 requests. Annual plans receive a 20% discount. Billing is automated and invoices are emailed monthly.
Can I change plans anytime?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle. If you upgrade mid-cycle, we'll prorate the difference. Downgrading takes effect at the start of your next billing period.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or startups?

Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption. We implement end-to-end encryption for sensitive data. Your text is processed in isolated environments and is never stored on our servers after processing completes (within 24 hours).
Do you store my processed text?
No. By default, we do not store any processed text. Text is held in memory only during processing and is immediately deleted after your API request completes. For audit logging purposes, we store only metadata (timestamps, request size, status) not the actual content.
Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes. We are fully GDPR compliant. We have Data Processing Agreements (DPA) available for all customers. EU users' data is processed in our Frankfurt data center. We support right to deletion, data portability, and other GDPR requirements.
What security certifications do you have?
We maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance, ISO 27001 certification, and undergo annual penetration testing. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS with multi-region redundancy. We have bug bounty programs to help identify potential security issues.
How do you handle API key security?
API keys are salted and hashed using bcrypt. We recommend rotating keys every 90 days. You can revoke keys instantly from your dashboard. Keys should never be committed to version control. Use environment variables or secrets management systems instead.
Who has access to my account?
Only you and authorized team members have access to your account. We implement role-based access control (RBAC) with Owner, Admin, Developer, and Viewer roles. Our staff can access accounts only with explicit customer permission and comprehensive audit logging.
